We are Energy Harvesting!
Summer is over and the EnOcean team has had a great time with different activities. And no matter what we did, we always found a connection to what we care about: energy harvesting.
We have great people dynamics at EnOcean. In summer you´ll always find us playing beach volleyball after work right next to the office. If you had a long day, just come out for a game and a laugh! That´s energy harvesting for you! |

Hiking puts me in direct contact with nature and is therefore a great way to recharge my batteries. Well, we don't use batteries at EnOcean! But you know what I mean. Is there anything better than mountains and the endless sky above?
Even outside of work I never lose touch with EnOcean. This summer I went to Canada and look what I have found in the iconic Montreal Olympic Stadium from 1976: a temperature switch from Distech with EnOcean technology! Needless to say the temperature inside was perfect and the view from the top absolutely stunning! |

I love speed. If my life was a movie, the soundtrack would be “Born to run” by Bruce Springsteen. Or “Born to cycle” if you will – I like both equally and not to brag but I´m pretty good at it. Running and cycling are energy harvesting methods of my choice.
“Mens sana in corpore sano” - a healthy mind in a healthy body, said already the Roman poet Juvenal in the second century AD. I live by it and seeing the energy I put into my workout transforming into muscle mass is a great motivation! |

They say if you find a job you love, you won´t ever feel like what you are doing is work. I am a passionate engineer and even on the beach you will see me building our PTM instead of a sand castle.
The ocean is part of our company name. It is meant as an ocean of unused energy, that we harvest, but I also really enjoy being in the actual ocean. |

The ocean is my passion. Moving forward on this unlimited vast just by using the power of the nature is a great experience. The sound of the waves, the wind and the speed gives me the absolute freedom and let's me forget the everyday life. Sailing is my energy harvesting! |
